Question 1

Does this regulator work with any ceiling fan?

Accepted Answer

It handles fans up to 120W, covering standard and larger ceiling fans, including most BLDC and higher-torque models. Confirm your fan's wattage on the motor label before ordering — running a fan above the regulator's rated capacity shortens its life.

Question 2

Can I install this myself?

Accepted Answer

It occupies a 2-module slot on your switchboard and connects the same way as any rotary fan regulator. The fit is straightforward, but the wiring itself is live work, so we recommend a licensed electrician handle the connection. Takes about 10-15 minutes.

Question 3

Is it safe for daily, long-duration use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The housing is fire-retardant PC+ABS, built for continuous household use. Stay within the 120W rating, and make sure the switchboard has normal ventilation — heat needs somewhere to go, same as with any regulator.

Question 4

What's the warranty on this?

Accepted Answer

15 years from purchase. If the 5-step mechanism fails, sticks, or the finish deteriorates, WhatsApp us a photo and we dispatch a replacement within 48 hours. No receipt, no dealer involved.

Question 5

Will it fit my existing modular plate?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's sized to the standard 2-module format used across Indian modular boards, so it drops into any compatible plate you already have, Novre or another brand, without modification.

Question 6

What's the finish, and how durable is it?

Accepted Answer

Lunar White on fire-retardant PC+ABS, UV-stabilized against yellowing and scuffing. It's the same housing material used across the rest of our regulator and switch range, so it matches in finish and wear.
