Question 1

How is a fan regulator installed?

Accepted Answer

It fits into a standard 1M modular frame and wires into your existing fan circuit in place of your old regulator. Because it involves live wiring, we recommend a licensed electrician install it, which takes about ten minutes.

Question 2

Is a step regulator safe compared to the electronic dimmer type?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and often more durable. Step regulators switch between fixed resistance levels rather than dimming continuously, which means less heat buildup over time. Ours is housed in fire-retardant PC+ABS and BIS certified for household use.

Question 3

What's covered under the guarantee?

Accepted Answer

15 years from purchase, covering any fault in the switching mechanism. If it stops working cleanly at any step, send a WhatsApp photo and we'll ship a free replacement within 48 hours.

Question 4

Does this fit any ceiling fan?

Accepted Answer

It works with any standard ceiling fan wired through a regular switchboard, and fits a 1-module opening on a standard Indian modular frame.

Question 5

What's it made from?

Accepted Answer

Fire-retardant PC+ABS housing in matte Lunar White, matching the rest of our switch range.

Question 6

What size fan can this handle?

Accepted Answer

It's rated for ceiling fans up to 80W across 4 speed steps. For larger or higher-wattage fans, our 5-step 120W regulator is the better fit.
