Question 1

Does this regulator work with any ceiling fan?

Accepted Answer

It's built for fans rated up to 80W, which covers standard Indian ceiling fans. Check your fan's wattage on the motor label or box before ordering — running a fan below the regulator's rated capacity for long periods can cause it to overheat over time.

Question 2

Can I install this myself?

Accepted Answer

The regulator fits into a standard 1-module slot on your existing switchboard, so the physical fit is simple. The wiring connection is live electrical work, though, so we recommend a licensed electrician handle the swap. It takes about 10 minutes.

Question 3

Is it safe to use with continuous operation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The housing is fire-retardant PC+ABS and the internal contacts are rated for the loads specified. As with any regulator, stay within the stated 80W limit, and avoid covering the switchboard opening, since that restricts heat dissipation.

Question 4

What's the warranty on this?

Accepted Answer

15 years from your purchase date. If the regulator fails — the step mechanism sticks, the finish chips, anything — send us a photo on WhatsApp and we ship a replacement within 48 hours. No receipt needed.

Question 5

Will it fit my existing modular plate?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's built to the standard 1-module size used across Indian modular switchboards, so it fits any compatible modular plate — Novre or otherwise — without any cutting, filing, or resizing. If your board already takes standard modular switches, this regulator sits in the same slot.

Question 6

What's the finish made of, and will it discolor over time?

Accepted Answer

The Lunar White finish is on fire-retardant PC+ABS housing, UV-stabilized to resist yellowing from sunlight exposure. It's the same housing material used across our switch range.
