Question 1

Is installation different from the 1M version?

Accepted Answer

No. It installs the same way, using standard screw terminals, but occupies a 2-module slot instead of 1-module on your plate and frame. If you're replacing an existing 2M switch, it's a direct swap.

Question 2

Is this switch safe for high-load circuits?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It's rated for 20A loads and built with fire-retardant PC+ABS housing, brass contact springs, and silver alloy contacts. It carries BIS certification under IS:3854, verifiable at bis.gov.in using the licence number on the product page.

Question 3

What does the warranty cover on this switch?

Accepted Answer

The full 15-year guarantee applies, covering the mechanism, indicator, and finish. If anything fails, WhatsApp us a photo and we ship a free replacement within 48 hours. No receipt or dealer visit required.

Question 4

Does this fit standard 2-module frames?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It's built to standard Indian 2-module dimensions, so it fits directly into any existing 2M slot on a standard 3, 6, or 8-module frame without any modification.

Question 5

What is this switch made from?

Accepted Answer

Fire-retardant PC+ABS housing with brass contact springs and silver alloy contact points, finished in matte Lunar White with an integrated indicator light on the rocker.

Question 6

What is the maximum load this switch handles?

Accepted Answer

This is a 20A one-way switch, suitable for higher-draw appliances like geysers, ACs, or water heaters, with the indicator showing at a glance when that circuit is live.
