Question 1

Does the indicator need separate wiring?

Accepted Answer

No separate wiring is needed. The indicator is built into the switch and lights up using the same circuit connection, so installation is identical to a standard one-way switch. It fits into a standard 1M plate slot using the same screw terminals.

Question 2

Is the indicator light safe to leave on constantly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The indicator draws a negligible current and is built into a fire-retardant PC+ABS housing with silver alloy contacts on brass springs, rated for continuous use. The switch carries BIS certification under IS:3854.

Question 3

Is the indicator covered under warranty too?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the full switch including the indicator light is covered for 15 years. If the indicator stops working or the mechanism fails, WhatsApp us a photo and we'll send a free replacement within 48 hours, no receipt required.

Question 4

Will this fit a standard modular board?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It's a 1-module switch built to standard Indian sizing, so it fits directly into any existing 3, 6, or 8-module modular frame without needing to change your plate or wiring box.

Question 5

What does the indicator look like on the Lunar White finish?

Accepted Answer

The indicator is a small integrated light point that sits flush within the switch rocker, visible but unobtrusive on the matte Lunar White finish. The body itself is fire-retardant PC+ABS with brass and silver alloy internals.

Question 6

What is this switch rated for?

Accepted Answer

This is a 20A one-way switch, suitable for higher-draw points like geysers or ACs, with the indicator letting you see at a glance whether that circuit is currently live.
