Question 1

How do I install this switch?

Accepted Answer

Two-way switches are wired in pairs to control one light from two points, such as a staircase or a corridor. This switch fits a standard 1M modular plate; an electrician wires two of these together with a common run between them to complete the two-way circuit.

Question 2

Is it safe to use in a home with children?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The housing is fire-retardant PC+ABS and the contacts sit shielded behind the plate, with no exposed live metal in normal use. It's rated for standard household circuits. Power off the circuit before installing or servicing, as with any switch.

Question 3

What's covered under the warranty?

Accepted Answer

15 years from the date of purchase. If the mechanism, finish, or contact point fails, WhatsApp us a photo and we ship a replacement within 48 hours. No receipt, no dealer visit, no paperwork required.

Question 4

Will it fit my existing modular plate?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It's built to the standard 1M modular size used across Indian switchboards, so it fits standard modular plates and frames already installed in most homes without replacing the plate.

Question 5

What's it made of?

Accepted Answer

Fire-retardant PC+ABS housing in Lunar White, with brass contact springs and silver alloy contact points. It's BIS certified under IS:3854, verifiable at bis.gov.in.

Question 6

What's the load rating?

Accepted Answer

20A per switch, suitable for standard lighting and fan circuits. In a two-way setup the current still runs through whichever switch is completing the circuit at that moment, so the 20A rating applies to each unit individually.
