Question 1

How do I install this plate?

Accepted Answer

It screws onto the mounting box behind your wall using standard screws, the same way any modular plate does. Swapping an old plate for this one takes an electrician a few minutes, without disturbing the wiring behind it.

Question 2

Is it safe to handle without an electrician?

Accepted Answer

The plate has no electrical connection itself — it just holds your switches or sockets in place. It's safe to handle. We still recommend an electrician for the swap, since the mounting box behind it is usually live.

Question 3

What's the warranty on this?

Accepted Answer

15 years from purchase. If it cracks, discolors, or the mounting points fail, send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll ship a replacement within 48 hours. No receipt needed.

Question 4

Will it fit switches and sockets from other brands?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It's built to the standard 2-module Indian modular format, so it accepts any compatible modular switch or socket, not just Novre's.

Question 5

How many switches or sockets does this plate hold?

Accepted Answer

Two. The 2-module size fits two points on one plate — say, a light switch and a fan regulator. For more points, our 3M, 4M, and 6M plates hold more.

Question 6

What's it made of?

Accepted Answer

Fire-retardant PC+ABS, the same housing material used across our full switch and plate range, finished in Lunar White.
