Question 1

How do I install this switch?

Accepted Answer

It fits a standard 2-module (2M) modular plate and wires the same way as a standard one-way switch. The indicator lights automatically whenever the connected circuit is live, with no separate wiring step needed. A qualified electrician can fit it during normal installation.

Question 2

Is it safe to use in a home with children?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The body is fire-retardant PC+ABS with contacts shielded behind the plate. The indicator shows at a glance whether the circuit is live, which is a useful safety cue, but it doesn't replace switching off the mains before electrical work.

Question 3

What's covered under the warranty?

Accepted Answer

15 years from the date of purchase, covering the switch mechanism, the indicator, and the finish. If any of these fail, WhatsApp us a photo and we ship a replacement within 48 hours. No receipt or dealer visit required.

Question 4

Will it fit my existing modular plate?

Accepted Answer

It's built to the standard 2M modular size, so check your existing plate or frame accommodates a 2-module switch before ordering — most standard modular boards used in Indian homes do.

Question 5

What's it made of?

Accepted Answer

Fire-retardant PC+ABS housing in Lunar White, brass contact springs, silver alloy contact points, and a low-power indicator lamp. It's BIS certified under IS:3854, verifiable at bis.gov.in.

Question 6

What's the load rating?

Accepted Answer

20A, suitable for standard lighting and fan circuits. The indicator draws a small additional current on its own but doesn't change the switch's rated load capacity.
