Question 1

How do I install the Aura switch?

Accepted Answer

It mounts on a standard 1-module plate and frame using screw terminals, the same way as any standard modular switch. It's a direct fit if you're replacing an existing 1M one-way switch, or straightforward for an electrician to wire into a new point.

Question 2

Is the Aura series safe for everyday circuits?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It uses a fire-retardant PC+ABS housing with silver alloy contacts on brass springs, built for reliable everyday switching. It's BIS certified under IS:3854, and you can verify the certificate number listed on the product page at bis.gov.in.

Question 3

Is the Aura switch covered by the same warranty as Core switches?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all Novre switches carry the same 15-year guarantee. If the mechanism or finish fails, WhatsApp us a photo and we'll send a free replacement within 48 hours, no receipt or dealer needed.

Question 4

Will the Aura switch fit my existing modular plate?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It's a 1-module switch built to standard Indian modular sizing, so it fits any existing 3, 6, or 8-module frame and plate you already have installed.

Question 5

What distinguishes the Aura design from Core?

Accepted Answer

Aura uses the same fire-retardant PC+ABS body and brass-and-silver-alloy internals as Core, with a distinct rocker profile. In Lunar White, it has a matte, soft-white finish that pairs well with most wall colours.

Question 6

Is 10A enough for standard lighting and fan points?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 10A comfortably covers standard lighting, fan, and low-draw circuits found in most rooms. For higher-draw points like geysers or ACs, choose one of the 20A switches instead.
